چکیده
Enterococcus faecalis is commonly isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of healthy infants and adults, where it contributes to host health and well-being. We describe here the draft genome sequence of E. faecalis PC1.1, a candidate probiotic strain isolated from human feces.

Draft Genome Sequence of Enterococcus faecalis Strain PF3, Isolated from Adélie Penguin Feces from Antarctica
Enterococcus faecalis is one of the leading causes of nosocomial infections and is a common commensal organism in humans and other animals. In this study, we report a draft genome sequence for the E. faecalis strain PF3, isolated from Adélie penguin feces collected from Warriner Island, Antarctica.
متن کاملDraft Genome Sequence of an Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 19433 Siphovirus Isolated from Raw Domestic Sewage
We previously isolated and characterized an Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 19433 siphovirus from raw domestic sewage as a viral indicator of human fecal pollution. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of this bacteriophage.
متن کاملDraft Genome Sequence of Enterococcus faecalis ATCC BAA-2128
While a part of the native gut microflora, the Gram-positive bacterium Enterococcus faecalis can lead to serious infections elsewhere in the body. The draft genome of E. faecalis strain ATCC BAA-2128, isolated from piglet feces, was examined. This draft genome consists of 42 contigs, 12 of which exhibit homology to annotated plasmids.
متن کاملDraft Genome Sequence of Enterococcus faecalis MB5259
In this study, we present a draft genome sequence of Enterococcus faecalis MB5259, a promising probiotic strain. The identified differences and common features between this strain and reference strains will assist in better understanding the mechanism of antibacterial action and in developing novel probiotics.
متن کاملDe Novo assembly and comparative analysis of the Enterococcus faecalis genome (KACC 91532) from a Korean Neonate.
Using a newly constructed de novo assembly pipeline, finished genome level assembly had been conducted for the probiotic candidate strain E. faecalis KACC 91532 isolated from a stool samples of Korean neonates. Our gene prediction identified 3,061 genes in the assembled genome of the strain. Among these, nine genes were specific only for the E. faecalis KACC 91532, compared with all of the four...
